How to request
Send your request to support with the project or transaction identifier, the email used when contracting and the reason for the request. Do not send full card details. Requests may concern cancellation, duplicate or improper charges, non-delivery or a material departure from the contracted service.
Before work begins
If the customer cancels before editorial work begins, a full refund of the amount paid for the service will be requested, without a cancellation penalty.
After work begins
Except where a full refund is guaranteed by law or by the merchant of record, cancellation after work begins will include a statement of work actually performed and the unperformed balance to determine a proportional refund. Sample approval or partial performance does not automatically exclude mandatory withdrawal or refund rights.
Delivery or billing failures
Requests concerning duplicate or improper charges, non-delivery or material defects will be investigated using project records, preserving the remedies and refunds available under the contract and applicable law. No customer must waive mandatory rights to request support.
Paddle transactions
Only when a purchase has actually been processed by Paddle will its purchase terms and refund policy also apply. Requests may be submitted to buyer support at paddle.net. Refunds for those transactions are processed by Paddle; the time for funds to appear depends on processing and the payment method. This policy does not replace decisions that belong to Paddle for transactions it processes.
Mandatory rights
Withdrawal, cancellation, refund and dispute rights under applicable law are preserved. No provision of this policy establishes a blanket ban on refunds for customized works, digital content or work already started. More favorable conditions agreed for the project will also be honored.
